Took the dog for a walk,
He is a good boy!
It was a very warm day.
He started to pant,
He was panting very hard.
We arrived home,
He continued to pant.
He was given fresh water
He sat near my husband
and panted.
Finally, he went to get a drink.
Is that your spiritual walk? Do you pant and thirst after Jesus? Do you ever find yourself sitting near something you enjoy rather than getting that important nourishment?
Psalm 42:1
As the deer (dog) pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.
panting is a dogs way of cooling down, sometimes I just want to sit by someone important to me and cool down too, knowing they will point me to the refreshing of His Word.
